MIMULUS GUTTATUS
Pianta: perenne, alta circa 30 cm
Foglie: arrotondate, opposte, dentellate e dalla superficie liscia
Fiori: di colore giallo, grandi e singoli. La corolla si spalanca in cinque lobi di cui i due superiori sono un po’ più piccoli degli inferiori. Il labbro inferiore è marcato, in maniera più o meno evidente, da macchioline rosse o purpuree.
Fioritura: da giugno ad agosto, vicino a piccoli corsi d’acqua, ruscelli e zone umide
Preparazione: Mimulus si prepara con il metodo del sole.
