Helianthemum nummularium
Pianta: perenne, arbustiva bassa, espansa, con fusti corti e legnosi, molto ramificati, che strisciano al suolo
Foglie: strette, opposte, verdi sopra e bianche sotto, ricoperte di peluria
Fiori: di colore giallo luminoso, contano cinque petali, morbidi e sgualciti. Gli stami attorno al pistillo sono numerosi.
Fioritura: da giugno a settembre, su terreni calcarei e ghiaiosi
